How to get to The Hague

The Hague is located on three major highways. The A12, to Utrecht and the German border, the A4, to Amsterdam and the A13, to Rotterdam and the Belgian border. Amsterdam (60 km), Brussels (170 km), Dusseldorf (250 km) and Paris (480 km) are all easy to reach. There are direct train connections to Amsterdam, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Rotterdam, Brussels and Paris. Also other European cities (Dusseldorf, Hannover) can be reached rapidly by train. The Hague has an excellent public transport system.

By train

There are two main train stations in The Hague: The Hague Holland Spoor (HS) and The Hague Central Station (CS). The international trains (from Paris and Brussels (Thalys)) only stop at Den Haag HS. Direct trains from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport can reach The Hague HS or The Hague CS.

By car

The Hague can be reached by the A4 (from Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport), A12 (from Utrecht, German border) or A13 (from Rotterdam, Belgian border).
